The site was a petrol filling station previously occupied by St Enoch's United Free Church on the corner of Argyle Street and Old Dumbarton Road.

The redevelopment enabled the completion of the urban grain and provide a positive termination to views along Argyle Street. Existing cornice lines and shop frontage heights are reflected in the built scale and massing which consolidates the traditional context and provides a high quality and sustainable infill.

The accommodation benefits from an active street frontage comprising a communal reception and laundry and a large retail/commercial space occupied by Tesco express.
